No...if I auction anything broke, which I don't believe I ever have, I will acknowledge that in the description. The doors on most models, hoods and truck-lids also, this one included, are made to be opened. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. If there is a problem I will make it right. Model is new in sealed box as received from the company. I have received many with a gap showing in the door, but nothing wrong other than the door not closed completely.
