It was taken in Portland, about 25th and SW Vermont. It was recently in a show at the Southwest Community Center (up the street on Vermont), near Gabriel Park. It was called "Vanity Faire" and was a fundraiser for women's health. It has also been on display at The Lotus Seed Center in NE, and 100th Monkey Studio in SE.

Yes, a couple years ago, while waiting for a bus. The long shadows I always thought of as implying the length of their journey together. Recently someone suggested that they looked more like skid marks. LOL
