Vintage chrome metal cigarette lighter. Approximately 1.5" square when closed. It's is in good working order but does need flint & fluid. Has original fluid batting and flint screw.
Unused monogram space so this is perfect for a personalized engraved gift for Christmas. With smoking on a decline, antique smoking ephemera will get harder and harder to find.
I have done a bit of research and am pretty certain of the accuracy of mfg. date. The maker, Colibri, transitioned to butane fueled lighters in the mid 1950's. Of course I'm not an antique specialist, so I could be off. I encourage you to research the web yourself if this is important to you.
