The listing, Set of two OOAK handcrafted altered art blank greeting cards using vintage international postage has ended.

Measuring approximately 4.5" by 3.5", these two handcrafted blank-inside greeting cards were made by me using vintage stamps from the Belgian Congo and Cuba. The card stock came from the cover of a notebook and is appropriately sturdy. It has a scalloped edge and the pattern repeats on the back, as shown in the third and fourth photos. The first two photos show scans of the fronts of the two cards. The cards come with plain white envelopes that are slightly larger than the cards themselves. The Cuba stamps indicate that they were issued for Mother's Day (Dia de las Madres).

I love "snail mail," papercrafting and collecting vintage stamps, mostly international ones. Making these cards helps me combine all these loves. Please see my other listings for more cards and other handmade items.

Hi Misty. Thanks! The edges came that way. I ripped the covers off a very inexpensive notebook that I got in the bargain bin at a crafts store, Michael's. The colors of the pattern (which reminds me a little of those old oilcloth tablecloths) coordinated nicely with some stamps I had. I am obsessing over stamps!
