I collect TIGERS and didn't know what it was,put it up @ 0 starting bid ,then all of a sudden,there is big bids! Must be hot! I should turn on me tele!?
LOL, that's hilarious! I'm a Yankee fan for what little I watch nowadays & I'd never heard of the Brooklyn Bomber [or Bum] myself until I saw a few of these go sky high and checked out the 'selling' prices on the other auction site! I owned comic & baseball card shops back in the 1980's and saw the market just die, but now I see a resurgence in it as more younger collector/investors read 'speculators' are getting involved again! the biggest factor I can attribute a lot of it too are the new type 'chase' cards, the signed, relics and other 'hot' pulls from companies that are putting out very limited cards the are collectibles as soon as they are pulled!
