No you don't have to have motion plus, but if you do, this device is compatible and will work with that functionality.

will this fit battery packs from the chargers or is the battery compartment smaller, you can see by switching the back of the bigger controllers on to this one. If so I would definitely bid on it. Also the picture you have looks like a stock photo, do you have a home picture?

No it cannot. The mini controller takes two AAA batteries whereas the full size takes AA. I have also uploaded photos of the device winner will receive.
