I'm not sure what ethernet is.... This says on the back that this is just a "Networking cable [that] is ideal for everyday high-speed internet applications. it offers balanced construction designed to maximize signal integrity by limiting cross talk and attenuation." Not sure if that helps... sorry I couldn't help more.
