I make up all the batter after Halloween and freeze it. Then after thanksgiving I start baking.
Then the grand kids come over for a weekend and we decorate the cookies. While parents are Christmas shopping.
I stArted doing this in 78. Then I borrowed all my friends kids so they could shop. I've made it a tradition. Put on music and aibg loud. Watch movies and make it a slumber party.
The kids take a basket of cookies home and I have all the decorating done. ! Woo hoo
Nothing nicer than kid decorated cookies
