The listing, Intel Core i3-350M Processor laptop CPU from Sony VAIO has ended.

Up for auction is a used Intel i3 processor pulled from my SONY VAIO laptop. As of three days ago, it was working great but then my laptop got dropped and now the laptop is dead. I am parting it out because it is just cheaper to buy a new one rather than sending in to Sony and waiting forever to have them fix it.

I dont know alot about the i3 processor but I have included two links of sites that will provide all the necessary information you tekkies need regarding this chip.

I will be listing other parts related to the Sony Vaio laptop as I get them out of the system and photographed.

what socket is it. that all depents on what it will all fit the brand of the computer even style, laptop, or desktop, it being a sony, toshiba, gateway, dell, aser, acus, hp, ext will never mater just the socket number and if your motherboard is compatibel for the CPU.

You might as well have written that in Chinese ride....I hear what you are saying but about it being compatable with the MB but I have no idea how to tell what socket it is. Thanks for the info about compatability.

Thanks to RIDE, i went baack and checked about sockets and according to Intel's website, it supports these sockets:

Sockets Supported

BGA1288, PGA988

You might want to check your info, the processor will fit several models so long as the motherboard is compatible. The buyer will need to make sure the motherboard is compatible with this processor and their motherboard.

Dell, Toshiba, Asus, HP, Fujitsu and others use this processor. It is not manufacturer specific, it's system board/socket specific. AgentFox, your processor is a Core2 Duo. This processor will not work for you.
