Multiterm Quartz with Inclusions - South Africa - miniature
This piece is from the Pella Mission in the Orange River Valley, Northrn Cape Province, South Africa.
It is an interesting consisting of double and multiple terminations on a translucent quartz crystal or
crystals. The quartz has reddish hematite inclusions just below the surface. The rear or bottom of the
piece healed with secondary growth so it is technically a floater also. It measures 1 1/2 x 1 1/4 x 1
inches or 38 x 32 x 25 mm.
