What is the Little Big Planet game most like, or most similar to, if you had to pick?

Could it at all be compared to The Sims? Like do you have to build and maintain the little characters lives?

Little Big Planet is a puzzle game, that you can play with up to 3 friends.
Its pretty fun!!
Its nothing like Sims, you dont need to maintain the characters lives. Although you can change the way your character looks.
It reminds me of Mario :)
Look up some videos on youtube sweetie, to get a better description. :)
