Description
The listing, Primula x pubescens Mix, Alpine Primrose Seed has ended.
A generous packet of seed for these gorgeous and easy to grow Primroses is yours if you win this auction!! These are very hardy and cold tolerant to zone 4! They need cold stratifying for germination, so sow now then place your seed pot outdoors for germination in spring as the temps get warmer!
Right-on! You sure are listing some beautiful flower seeds, Amy! I'm just wondering if these kind of beauties would do well here in Central Texas. I know I'd have to be very mindful of the sun, seeing as a lot of these flowers like their shade. ;0)
Most hardy perennials do need a winter dormancy period of at least 6 weeks of temps going below 50*f. And all Primula need that.....as well as rich, moist soil in part to full shade. So if you can provide all that, then you'll do fine!!
