Description

The listing, SATA to IDE adapter *RARE* has ended.

It has been tested with 2.5mm notebook hard drives, and 3.5mm hard drives, as well as a 2.5mm SSD. Was tested with a 1TB HDD. More reliable than the JMicron chip models[Green PCB]. PITA to actually get shipped anywhere online.

Perhaps you should read the reviews of no-name chips and what they do to the drives. By all means, get a chinese adapter and wait three months for it to be shipped in a shoe. There's a reason CompUSA / Tigerdirect / CircuitCity stopped carrying those models, call them and ask why. :)

It is because they did a changeover in the actual chip they use for this and other models. Please try to keep up. It's all over Anandtech and Tom's.
