i have been using the service for a year now and the readers do go out sometimes(i have went through 3, use it close to water)
i got the first one for free and you can order them off the site, but they can take 2 weeks and can be on back order.

While these are available through their website for the *initial signup* for free, getting a replacement is a different story that does involve a fairly long wait.

These are sold in various retail outlets. Normally priced at $10, then you get a $10 credit after you register the account.

I've seen tons of these listed before, and the ensuing controversy that comes with them. However, there is no stipulation on listing free items, at least none that I have seen in the ToS. If you can point it out to me, I will gladly retract my statement.

wow u get these for free (no payment at all!!!) from this site right here https://squareup.com/ so therefore this is acutally against the rules to list and should be removed there is no reason to screw people out of there hard earned credits whe u can get one for free with no shipping or anything

While I appreciate your input, I suggest you read the other remarks made by fellow members. You are partially correct in that some places give these out for free. However, other places do not, and therefore this is a legitimate item. I assure you, no one is getting "screwed" out of their hard earned credits. Seeing how this is an auction, let's allow them to decide whether or not they want it. Cheers.

They also sell them at apple store , so they are a valid item. Also they are on back order alot from square trust me been down that road before.

no dumbass the place that makes them give them away for free so therefore u can not list this because of that and yeah I know that some places charge for them but the manufacture gives them away for free so it shouldn't be up here
