Well, it could be a few things. Echeveria? Pink C_____? Giant ________? Oh well, I am sure someone will enlighten me! Please! Winner will get the exact plant shown. It's a rescue "stick" I started early in the season. It will be shipped in the medium you see it in. Please ask questions before bidding. All Listia rules apply. No refunds. Let's get this nameless babe a home. BID!
It does not look like a ghost plant at all. Many succulents look alike, but yours looks more like some kind of echeveria or something else. From my experience, E. propagate by shooting offsets around mama's plant from the mama's 'trunk' under or close to the soil level, ghosts would grow from leaves or branch on the top parts of mama's trunk. And graptopetalums or graptosedums (google them, both are hybrids and called ghosts;) have more narrow and thicker leaves.
But anyway, Sam - it is a great auction! The plant looks very healthy and beautiful:)
Thanks Maria. I started this from just the stalk for the most part. I never saw what the mature plant looked like. The bigger they get and begin to take on more characteristics, I tend to agree that it is some type of echeveria. For me, the challenge was simply bring the poor thing back to health. I feel like it did that. Now someone will enjoy watching it get bigger!
