Description

The listing, MOON FLOWER {DATURA} SEEDLING ***Live Plant NOT Seeds*** has ended.

Winner will get the exact plant shown in pictures 2-3-4. I added some additional pictures of my plant from the 2016 season to show the blooms and seed pod.

I love this plant even though it has some drawbacks. Firstly, the foliage is toxic to ingest, but why would you do that? The worst though is the invasive qualities of the plant. As you can see in the last picture, the pod is filled with about 50+ seeds. The pods need to be collected in the fall or you will have Moon Flowers out the dang-dang next year.
The awesome part is that the blooms are the purest of white and the scent is sublime. For me, that makes it worth the negatives.
Please ask questions before you bid. I will not refund credits unless you can prove we are related. All Listia rules must be followed. Those showing a callous disregard for the rules will be detained by Deputy Chris Mastrianni on LIVE PD next week.

Funny you say you need to collect the seeds or you will have them up the ying yang. I never had that probably. Now this year is a different story. Plenty of little children.

I love my moon flowers and they grow all over the house..so easy to care for indoors if you keep them by a window with out too strong sun..It took a couple of years for 1 of them to leave the little children but the other did it right away..regardless these are so unique & great space fillers if in pots

I follow all rules including bo buffoonery of any kind..I scared of Deputy Chris

I tell folks I gron Moon Flowers and they put their hand to mouth and gasp, "Aren't they terribly invasive?"
I hope so.
Deputy Chris wanted me to tell you to stop worrying about your Listia soul and bid with reckless abandon.
I'm just the messenger.

I already have blooms on a section of a last years plant stem that I had broke off off about 6 inches off the ground that came back. It is not as big as last year and the others are pretty little. Those are white and then a double purple

I love the double purples. Crazychic (something more) from Wapakoneta Ohio has doubles and triples in purple, yellow and white. It ould be pretty seeing them all mixed

Very interesting seedpod. I had this growing in my garden in Michigan and it came up all by itself, is it rather a wildflower?
