Description

The listing, UNCIRCULATED 1909 VDB Lincoln Wheat Cent has ended.

This auction is for an Uncirculated, 1909 VDB Lincoln Wheat Reverse Cent Coin.
The features of this coin are in just excellent shape, especially the Wheat Heads on the Reverse side that are always the first to show any type of wear.

The scans and /or pictures above are of the actual item that you will receive, and are provided for you to determine the condition and/or grade of it.
I would prefer to no longer accept GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding, and you will be able to win the item much cheaper by bidding.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.
I check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything out of the ordinary that does appear. All items are packaged in Bubble Wrap Mailers unless a Box is needed, so be assured that your items will arrive safely.
Thank you for your interest in my auctions and stopping by to view them.

The coin is not uncirculated, it would not be brown if it was uncirulated. Not to mention ware can be seen on lincoln's face. This coin is XF or AU

so the expert that you are in telling me that there are no brown small cents at all when it comes to being uncirculated means that you will not be bidding.
also, any "wear" that you may think you see is just some more discoloration.
thank you for your comment though, every one will take it into consideration, I am sure.

Sorry, that was my brother. What he meant to say was basically an uncirculated penny would be shinier and would just look newer. This one is in great condition, but since it does not look brand new, it wouldn't be considered 'uncirculated'

I wonder if he is going to be very shiny or look all that new when he is 108 years old and not been inside of any type of airtight or weather proof packaging. copper never did and never will keep its mint sheen without the right packaging or protection.

Hah good one. I don't think he'll live that long. But his point is basically the coin isn't in uncirculated condition, even if that is true, what you just said

when you understand grading you will know that there are still 10 more grades beyond Almost Uncirculated and 5 of those do not have "mint sheen" associated with it. you keep your opinion and just move on to the next auction. thank you and good luck
