This 1979-P Mint Set includes 6 uncirculated coins: the cent through the dollar for the Philadelphia Mint.1979 Mint Sets come housed in their original mint cellophane pack with separate sealed compartments for each coin. The U.S. Mint issued 2,526,000 of these sets!
Each COMPLETE 1979 Uncirculated Mint Set contained both P & D examples of the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, Washington Quarter, Kennedy Half Dollar, and Susan B. Anthony Dollar.
The six coins from each mint facility were placed within sealed plastic cellophane packs. These were placed between two protective cardboard pieces and placed within an envelope marked “U.S. Mint 1979 Uncirculated Coin”.
** This set is one of the 1979 Uncirculated 'Philiadelphia Mint' packs. And comes with the original envelope.
