After his wife's death David Tyler, the president of Tyler Toys, stops spending time with his family. When his 11- year old son Matt learns his sister, Kelly, is on the verge of inventing the world's first thinking computer chip in her bedroom, he launches Brainiacs.com. Mat raises enouph money to anonymously buy his father's company and orders his father and the other employees to throw away their ties and to spend more time with their families. That's when Matt runs into a greedy banker, scheming to take over the company. Only by coming clean to his father and sister can Matt begin to get them out of the mess he's gotten them into.
