fanned and watching. can never have enough of 1909 VBD(this one is a common for the VBD ONES) (BUT STILL RARE)Now with the change to ALL pennies(being made with mostly zinc, even the the ones made before the switch will pick up value)
To inform people, the above link is for products to buy cleaning stuff for coins. Here's the deal with doing that, YOU KILL THE VALUE OF THE COIN,PLEASE I SEE SO MANY PEOPLE FALLING FOR THIS,NEVER EVER CLEAN ANY COIN IN ANYWAY. Now if you use just plain water and rub it with just your fingers(because it is caked with mud is one thing;just don't beyond being able to make out date and (if it has one)mint mark)
very true! i never clean a coin, but I have run across a few of them in my day. When you look through bulk wheat pennies, your bound to find a cleaned coin or two! Im just glad this is one isnt, lol :-)
