This is a third lot of an Canadian large 1859 cent. This ones a space filler too, with serious scratches, rim indentations and slight bend.

BTW - the "penny" is a term technically reserved for the British penny which was worth twice as much. The present animal is equivalent to the American cent of the time

This is only the 2nd year of Canadian Large cent. I just found out that the proper term is "cent" equivalent to the US cent. The British penny was a different animal, worth about twice as much...10 million were made.
