Description

The listing, seed beads, beaded abalone and turquoise chip beads has ended.

Hello fellow Listians, this auction is for an assortment of seed beads as well as a string of what appear to be turquoise beads and a piece of abalone with beadwork on it.

I am assuming these are turquoise chips because they are definitely stone, and they are bright turquoise in color. However I am not a gemologist or geologist so my opinion could be incorrect. What you see is what you get.

You will get a bag each of the following colors of beads: aqua blue, blue-purple, purple, gold, purple long beads. You will also get a strand of clear longish beads with red centers. The shapes on these are a little irregular.

I know it looks a little funny but I poked the camera lens down into each bag and took a picture to show the colors as accurately as I could without having to dump them all out.

The beadwork on the abalone does not have a loop on the back but you could put one on pretty easily if you wanted to use it as a pendant. The yellow light on the abalone is just because it was around sunset when I took these pictures.

Great auction! :) Do you have any idea how many beads are in each bag?

Thanks! No, I don't know and I really don't have time to dump them out and count them, but what I can tell you is that the beads came to me in the form of very wide, cuff-style woven bead bracelets on elastic thread, which I pulled apart to use the beads. I think there were two of the gold and the purple bugle beads so there are more of those beads. But then I have also used some of the beads since then.

They are glass. I didn't even know there was such a thing as acrylic beads, I guess I just learned something.
