Cool auction. I will keep an eye on it, and if it is cheap near the end, I will probably bid.

I dont really go by what credits cost if you buy them from listia. I go more by the market rate currently for credits. Which is 50-60k = $100 gift card. So your asking about $50, which is a good deal obviously. Its not like you can take your credits and sell them to listia for what they charge right? And who buys credits anyways, lol. I think your asking price is a good deal. If that guy upgraded he probably got an i9, which I think is the only faster intel retail chip, but i could be wrong, or like the other guy said, maybe went up to the 2nd gen i7. He should have kept the intel sticker on it, but he must have removed it to put the silver goo on for installing his heatsink correctly. Nice auction.

PEOPLE, you CAN NOT just put this is ANY COMPUTER! You need a socket 1366 Motherboard OR ELSE IT WILL BREAK THE CPU! THAT MEANS NO DELL, HP, or any other computer you bought at the store. That is because those store bought computers ALREADY have THIS processor in it IF it is a valid computer, this is an entry level chip for the 1366 socket.

I'm confused. All these comments and no one has pointed out that there is no such thing as a Core i7 928. Intel made a Core i7 920 and a Core i7 920XM. Is this one of those? Or did it come out of a 928i gaming computer?
