Are the cords needed for the printer easy to find? how much would they cost? and can it be used to print anything other than shipping labels?

I seen them on ebay (hopefully I can say that here) for 6 to 10 bucks shipped. depending on if its a name brand item or not. And it can be used to print anything. It also comes with some labels.

My husband says he thinks he has a power adaptor that would fit and work in it. Hes going to check in the garage when he gets off work today. I'll update.

I tried pulling the specs for it - the most detailed one I could find was here http://www.barcodediscount.com/pdf/Zebra/2844z.pdf and it just states it is windows based. I know it worked on Vista (Thats what I was using). but I never tired it on Windows 7 and I can't find anything on it.

I'll keep looking.
