I have also gotten them down to a premie size.. the smallser sizes doe not have tassles but are loopier and slip on baby over a pr of socks.. they are made to snug the little feet warm

emm t hought I answered this one.. I will if I can find the yarn in fine mode. Baby yarns are limited ( although have no idea why ) but will shop around to see what I can find if you or anyone wishes a little difference.. for the other kids, I can use regular yarn and would be no problem, but this auction is limited for now to 6 months size as that is what yarn I have on hand.

Good I am glad. My gramma would be happy as this one was the favorite of everyone for that special gift way back when My kiddos were born... all of her grandkids had a pair of these or there is another one im working on more for boys.. most folks figure when bringing them home from the hspital, it doesn't matter longs they are cute.. So glad she likes them

if I can find yarn in those colors yes I can do the double. The baby yarn in those colors might be hard to find and time would have to be allowed for me to go to craft stores by dallas.. would not be done the same day for sure. If for older child, say a year I can use regular yarn, and then the colors would be easier to do.
