The listing, *BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH* Genuine Ancient Roman Coin Over 1000 Years Old has ended.
This auction is for a Genuine Ancient Roman Coin Over 1000 Years Old.
This coin is at the point of being unable to tell which Caesar is depicted on it and any markings for the exact year.
"BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH" was a warning to Caesar by a soothsayer about the prediction of his day of death. that day was March 15 of 44BC. I wish I could have listed the Roman coin issued by Brutus in 42BC that displayed EID MAR (Eidibus Martiis - on the Ides of March) under a "cap of freedom" between two daggers, for this infamous date in Roman History.
The scans and /or pictures above are of the actual item that you will receive, and are provided for you to determine the condition and/or grade of it.
I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.
Just let it be known that every Monday and Friday I actually go to the Post Office and pay the Postage and Tracking in person so that you will receive your item as soon as possible.
Now that the holidays are over, the Post Office is still taking extra days to get packages to their destinations, or having trouble getting them to the correct destinations. I have items that are taking up to 2 weeks for delivery, so keep this in mind when bidding.
Because of this I check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything that is out of the ordinary and when tracking does state delivery, I will get in touch with you to verify that the tracking information is correct if you do not claim receipt by the end of the delivery day.
Thank you for your interest in my auctions and stopping by to view them.
