This is called a thread charm or Arachnias charm or even the Witches dream catcher

How you use it, is you hang it over your door, to trap ill intent in its tangled threads, before they can enter the house.

This is what I do with any small glass bottle in my house, that has outlived its former usefulness, meaning the lid has stopped sealing.... when that happens, the bottle becomes part of my sewing box

Once there, each snip of thread, string, etc, too short to use, in the bottle it goes, with a short spell spoken for each thread put inside. This one was just finished, today

It took some 4 mts, to fill it

There may be others, of who knows what size, but it might be a while.. I do not sew that much now a days :) so get this one.. while you can
