The listing, Brookstone World Clock - Touch Map to See the Time in Different Timezones has ended.
This is a Brookstone branded world clock. It has new batteries and is set to EST. You can view other time zones by lightly pressing major cities in the delineated time zones on the world map display.
This clock may have been built by Seiko as there were very similar clocks made by then. The clock is from the late 1980's but still works well. There are also almost identical Howard Miller clocks from this period that differ only by the paint job. My guess is Seiko made these too
There were a few spots in the frame of the map of the clock where the black paint has worn off, but I fixed them with black bic pen ink :-). Now the imperfections are not annoying.

Here are the setting directions that I modified from those for the Seiko World Clock:
1. Press and hold all three buttons for two seconds to reset the clock after changing batteries or things are messed up.
2. Press the time zone on the front that you want to set the time to.
3. Press and hold the "Select" until the hours of the clock start flashing.
4. The "Set" button advances the units, in this case hours, one by one.
5. After setting the hour, you can set the minutes, month, day, year and whether the clock is to use a 12 or 24 hour clock, by additional presses to the Select button and again using the Set button to increment the units. The day of week is correct if day - month -year is correct.
6. Pressing "Mode" returns clock to run mode after setting.
7. Lightly press the zone on the map to see time in that zone.
8. To set the Alarm, press the Mode button so the clock reads "Al". Press and hold the Select button to access the hour the alarm goes off. Press again to access the minutes and finally once more to choose whether the alarm will actually be activated. When the AL letter are alone in flashing, set turn on the alarm by again using the Set button.
