1956 Topps Harmon Killebrew # 164. Professionally graded Very Good to Excellent by PSA ( The most respected grading authority in the industry ). This is Harmon's 2nd Card !Nicknamed " The Killer " and also " Hammerin Harmon " He had 2,086 career hits with 573 Home Runs and 1,584 Runs batted in. He was a thirteen time All Star. American League MVP in 1969. Six time AL Home Run leader. Three time RBI leader. His # 3 is retired with the Minnesota Twins. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984.
Personal Note > I hired him as my celebrity autograph guest for a baseball card show at the Salem Armory Auditorium in Salem, Oregon on May 29th, 1988.
Despite his nicknames and powerful style of play, I found him to be a quiet and kind man.
He died in 2011 of esophageal cancer.
