Uniden Bearcat hand held portable scanner, a bit work no battery cover , needs red wire re attached to 9 volt batter holder, other then that works great

our local frequencies are on FM. Does it pick up FM?

Its not for "radio" stations"
but it picks up low band to high band. like 117 mgz is local airport.
456? is weather ect...sorry for caps cant find my glasses/.

well although its a police scanner if you punch in the radio frequency u can listen to the radio stations, if you hit the limit it can pick up phone calls,minus cellular. and there are some mods you can do to this scanner,im confuse tho as my scanner doesnt run on a 9v batt,it takes a battery pack .....good luck nice auction got any more scanners or ham radios kicking around?
