The listing, ASUS Computer Motherboard With CPU and Fan ***LOW GIN*** has ended.

I was told that this computer motherboard was in working condition when it was pulled, however, I have made no attempt to install or test it in anyway so it is "as is".
The board appears to be in excellent condition, no chips or scratches, no bent or broken pins, even the heatsink on the cpu is very clean. I just have no use for this board, so I thought that I would git it away.

I will provide the manual as a .pdf file and drivers if the winner lets me know what OS they will be using.

Shipping will cost me more than is stated above, i just feel that the winner should help defray some of the cost. Thank you for understanding this up front.

Socket 478 was used for all Northwood Pentium 4 and Celeron processors. It supported the first Prescott Pentium 4 processors and all Willamette Celerons, along with several of the Willamette-series Pentium 4s. Socket 478 also supported the newer Prescott-based Celeron D processors, and early Pentium 4 Extreme Edition processors with 2 MiB of L3 cache.
Celeron D processors were also available for Socket 478 and were the last CPUs made for the socket. So, any of the a fore mentioned will be the CPU included in this auction.

I have not tested this motherboard in any way. Please read the description above. This machine was used in a business environment, for a purpose of which I am not privy to. I do not want to pull the heat sink off of the CPU to identify it, as it is a rather messy process and then I'd need to reapply heat sink compound and retest an untested board to make certain that all was well. Bottom line, it is a Intel socket 478, garner from that what you will.

I get hundreds of computers and misc components every month. I refurbish the ones I can and donate them to the needy or other charities. Often I get items (like motherboards) without a case or power supply. These will sit on a shelf for a long time. Listia gives me an avenue to share them with others and gather a few credits to get other items I need to finish another machine to give away. This isn't a game for me, this is what I do after working a 60 hour week
