I don't know much about iPods to tell you if it can fit an 2nd gen, but the last auction I had for one just like this a girl on listia told me that it was for 3rd and 4th generation because she could tell by the way it was made. I am sorry I can't be more helpful but that package doesn't. Give me any info of the sort. Can anyone help me out here ??

looks like 4th because of hole for camera. Cant be 3rd and 4th since thickness varies. Has to be one or the other. Im thinking 4th

Sorry about that,that was my daughter she had her hopes up on that case and she wont have enought to get a new case.Ipod youch 4th generations are weaker and thiner and they brek easy.

Awe I'm sorry! I understand I am horrible about dropping my phone!! I have only had it a few months and it already has all kinds of scratches on it!! I will list another soon and by then maybe she have enough credits.. also at the top of every listia page it says "Get Credits" if you click on that it will take you to a page with several options to get more credits, if you click on "complete a specil offer or make a purchase", it will take you to another page-at the top it will ask if you want to "Buy" credits-(I don't recommed buying credits) scroll down and there will be a grid with several different offers, at the top right of the grid it will say something like popular click on that them scroll down till you see "free" you can complete surveys and many other free offers to get more credits for yourself I hope this helps and it's not too confusing.
