The listing, One Pine-cone Cholla Pad has ended.

This auction is for one pad from my private collection.This makes a wonderful care free Holiday gift. From western Argentina, Tephrocactus articulatus var. diadematus is a nearly spineless form of the species. At least none of the ones in my collection ever formed spines except for some small glochids on the new growth. These usually fall off as it ages. Segments generally grow longer and narrower than var. papyracanthus, reportedly up to a foot tall. Mine are generally a bit shorter than that. The flowers are very similar to var. papyracanthus.

again how old does it have to be to bloom, how often does it bloom and about how much is shipping? 99320

I had to wait until the second year before mine bloomed. I get 2 different bloom sessions on mine each lasting a couple months. It has a lot to do with how much sun they get.

Had to thank you, no one knew what this was and I have been growing it for years, a great plant and if I didn't already have some, I would be bidding high for a start of it.. easy to grow, even here in the arid desert,
