these cactus are easy to grow and require just a little space they get beautiful yellow flowers in the late spring but do not flower the first year only the second year and trhen you will get seed pods too there are about 10 to 15 seeds in each pod plant them under your windows and deter theives and peeking toms they will not want to get in a foot fight with these i have a pile of these planted under every window and nobody has peeked in on me also when they get a few cactuses growing on one main leaf yuou can break them off and just stick in ground and it will grow they grow in zones 2 through 10 outside
