Antique Lovely Valentine" 4" X 2.5" cir 1837-1901 fringed.Colored (flowered) portion lifts up and has the name of the sender printed. Could not picture that as it is very delicate and afraid it might tear....one can lift up gently to see inside.
Some yellowing from age on the back and the portion of the front the decoration is attached to....nothing unusual for the age of this item. From my grandfather's estate.
found these on e-bay and dated 1837-1901 priced for $64.00 . some condition issues with the fringe (see pics) but doesn't distract from the beauty of this Victorian piece .
Some child from the past has drawn on the back.
Front reads "Have kindly thoughts of me"
