Yes it can be washed but then it's gonna turn and lose it's shine, so why bother, just being honest, cause it's not real silver

it is silver plated & to keep the shine, just take a dry cloth & buff the silver to get the shine back .Also put chalk in jewelry box or draw where you keep jewelry & it will keep silver from turning black,it absorbs all the moisture soo hope this helps thanks
