Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse, 26-Inch USB Cord, P/N: X08-86056

Microsoft M20-00001 Notebook Optical mouse features Microsoft Optical Technology for smooth, accurate performance. Contoured for comfort and scaled-down in size, Notebook Optical Mouse is always good to go. The unique clear scroll wheel lets you move through documents and Web sites quickly without clicking on the scroll bar. This mouse was designed for travel. Optical accuracy and the convenient scroll wheel ensure smooth performance when you are on the go.

Optical technology refers to the use of an optical sensor to track mouse movement, rather than the traditional use of mechanical parts. As a result, optical mouse products work on most surfaces and offer you better durability, increased speed and accuracy, and consistent performance.

Our wireless optical mouse products also feature breakthrough power-saving technology that significantly extends battery life. Recent testing has shown Microsoft mouse products to have greater than three times the battery life of a major competitor's. And IntelliPoint software, included with every wireless optical mouse, notifies you when your battery is getting low.

The optical sensor performs best on surfaces with detail to track. It will not function on surfaces without visible detail (such as glass) or surfaces on which it has a reflection (such as mirrors or glossy surfaces). The optical sensor may also have difficulty tracking on highly repetitive patterns (such as printed magazine or newspaper photographs, which often are composed of many dots per inch).

Ambidextrous design makes working more comfortable, whether you mouse with your left or right hand.

Yes it is but it still works just fine and has no problems with it. The pictures are just really nice looking because I got them straight from Microsoft website.

Shipping shouldn't be much. I'd say $3-5 should do it!
Dec 30th, 2009 at 1:16:35 PM PST by

Actually shipping (through usps) is $4.95 flat rate
Dec 30th, 2009 at 3:05:54 PM PST by

Way too much for such a lightweight item! I know people think Flat Rate is the best thing next to sliced bread, but this can go MUCH MORE CHEAPLY and FAST just at FIRST CLASS Just put it in a small box, pad it with shredded newspaper, weight it and it should cost NO MORE than $3

Could cost even less.........
