btw, 2016 has been a...um..."problematic" year...HOWEVER, there is one good thing that i discovered that really made it easier to get through- the musical Hamilton--seriously-.im not really a big broadway fan, so i hesitate calling it a masterpiece,- but im going to anyway. iits brilliant. and actually pretty accurate, history-wise.
f you get a chance you can listen to it for free on youtube, just find a playlist that has both acts in order (and if you can- check out the one that has the lyrics that go with it- its easier to understand who is saying what) if you need help locating it, just pm me.
there is one line that i repeated to my self that i am able to find solace in our increasingly crazy world:

throw away any preconceptions you may have, because it really is amazing, for everyone
