have had this packed in a drawer for a couple of years, and I did open it to see if it did work, and it does, but I can't promise how long the batteries will last before they will need to be repalced, it takes 2 CR2032 batteries. It is a FL95 PC Organizer with Timex Data Link System, with Royal Glo NiteVue Display, has 8kb memory. I paid $39.99 when I purchased it. It has never been used. You can enter, store and update information on you desktop PC, send it to the FL organizer using flashing bars of light, no wires or cables required. Compatible with Mirosoft Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. Timex Data Link software(floppy disk) included and has instruction booklet. Stores phone #s, appointments, To-Do Lists, and Anniversary reminders. Displays Home Time/World Time. Has a built in 10 digit calculator. System requirements: Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher(includes Windows 95) PC with 80386 processor or higher. CRT(cathode ray tube) monitor-VGA or better. 4MB of system memory(RAM), 3.5" floppy drive, 2.5 MB of free hard disk space and mouse required. From what I have read in the instructions, you can use this as a Organizer w/out installing on your desk top, so would be a great personal organizer to keep your phone #s and other data. Says it also beeps to remind you of your appointments or meetings. You can preset up to 5 alarms a day and displays an icon to remind you of upcoming birthdays, anniversaries or special events. Since I will be shipping free, and have opened the pkg., I will only be mailing the organizer, the instruction booklet, the floppy disk, and the cardboard insert that is inside the plastic casing...that way shipping will be cheaper on me. We only have one car and shipping depends on when hubbie gets home in time for me to make it to the PO before it closes, my FB shows I mail items ASAP. I package my items very well and have never had any lost or returned, nor any broken during shipping.
