there is a mode in windows to down grade it to work , but i think after XP they stopped using it , hope this helps

Yes, there is a way to do it and I see that people have been doing it with Vista also. I don't know about Windows 7. And then they will want fine detailed directions on how to do it and I don't know how, I don't need to. Thanks Peter for the added info.

It states in the ad Windows 95 / 98. There is a way to update but I don't know how. Sometimes software do work with Windows higher than stated but I am not opening up a new, sealed item to test it to find out since it will no longer be new or sealed. Sorry
