Yard long beans are sometimes called Asparagus beans or Chinese long beans. This variety produces long, dark green, slender, round stringless pods that grow 16-18" long. This strong, easy to grow plant needs a warm climate to thrive and will reward you with high yields.

Maturity: Approx. 70 days
Planting season: Late spring/early summer

Cultivation: Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring/ summer after last frost in a warm, sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Train to climb a vertical support. Harvest pods while still smooth, tender, about the diameter of a pencil, and 12-16" long.
