Correct. I bought phone for my brother who has SafeLink and right on the box it says, SafeLink customers cannot upgrade or transfer service to this phone, UGH...I guess I should of read box BEFORE i purchased...lol. Thank u!

If it has not Been activated through any other you van still use it for safelink you just have to call them and they will transfer it for you
