The listing, BIG Bag of Lapis Stone Beads Chunky Nuggets has ended.

Winner gets this excellent 3-inch baggie stuffed full of nice chunky lapis stone beads. These are not genuine lapis (which is very expensive) but the closest thing to it, some sort of dyed stone (if I knew what it was I have forgotten).

They are very nice, consistent rich color, excellent quality, a variety of sizes, and the only lot I have!

WARNING to bidders ... last weekend at least THREE bidders told me they tried to place bids in the last minute that never registered. If you want something PLEASE place your bid at LEAST five minutes before the auction end. At night, when lots of auctions are ending, Listia's servers get overwhelmed and slow down. If you want something, bid in advance PLEASE!

While I'm on a soapbox ... here's another thing to consider. Do you bid against friends? I do, and here's why:

Once you've been on Listia for a while, you make a LOT of friends! The many wonderful people on Listia is a BIG reason why I keep giving away stuff, and spending about $200 a month on shipping! When I find something I like, I don't even LOOK at who is bidding ... I just bid, and then I MIGHT look.

The problem is that if you don't bid against friends, you don't bid on a LOT of auctions. This is not fair to the sellers (and we are ALL sellers!). Sometimes I bid just to get it on my list to watch it more easily. Sometimes I bid to bump up the credits on something I think is worthwhile (particularly if the seller is a friend!). Sometimes I bid to win.

So, PLEASE bid against ME ... and PLEASE don't be upset if I bid against YOU. Bidding against friends is something of a necessary evil on Listia, and competing with friends can add to the interest and excitement of any auction!
