Yes that is how you build up your fan list and earn fan badges for example when you get 25 people to fan you then you will get a badge for having 25 fans usually if you become a fan of someone they will fan you back but I always ask I fan people even if I just look at their stuff and don't bid. I have only been on Lista about 3 months and am still learning things also..good luck and happy bidding ...also another helpful hint you can get a lot more points if you do free shipping and if you do a good description of your merchandise

I am unemployed as well but with offering free shipping you may pay 3-5 shipping but turn around with 1,000 more credits and get $20 worth of stuff. that's how I look at it :)
