It's a little hard to explain, but someone probably put down a "maximum bid." This is where they offer to bid as much as say 5000. As long as other bidders put down something less than 5000 the program for the auction will keep their bid above other bidders by at least 1 credit until someone outbids their maximum bid. Their maximum bid is kept secret so you'll just have to guess what it is.

What are the dimensions of the charms?

Chain is 18 inches long. First two keys are about 2 inches, third is 3.5 inches and the last one is just over 3 inches.
