just got back from the post office and she said it would be best via media mail but since there is so many records + double records and the fact that i dont know the exact weight or the zip then the shipping could be anywhere from 10-25. she said thats just a guess

How many records total are there?

Hi, I was going to suggest the same thing, about going on-line to www.USPS.com. You need to weigh them, in the box you would be mailing them in, with all the packing paper, then put in the address, and it will give you the amounts for different shipping options.

Also, sometimes, if it's a heavy item(s), you can also go through www.ups.com. They have different price rates for their shipping.

If you look on E-Bay, unless it's something rare and hard to find, my experience has been that Vinyl Records aren't selling for that much. I buy mine at a local thrift store for a $1.00 each, which is a good price. I always find alot of good ones, and they are always in very good condition.

lol. There is an old glass bottle on listia, worth about 3.00 and it is almost 300 credits right now.. I am sure these records will go over 5K credits. Very nice collection!

you can weigh them and then go to www.usps.com then click on calculate postage. you can ship them by media mail.if you put the weight on here they ca check it for there zip. rember to add for packageing.

Just a note, I'm a 'vinyl' fan/collector....remember when using the USPS you may be able to save some on shipping as vinyl records, I believe, count as 'MEDIA' and therefore can be shipped using Media Mail (IE, books, magazines, DVD's CD's etc) good luck hope the auction goes northward!
