Questions & Comments
Does it come with all of the cords that was with it when it was new and does does it also still have the setup disc that came with it ?
Oops....Sorry. I just saw where you had put that it did come with the power cable and one cad 5 cable. The only thing that I need to know is about the setup disc. Also is this the router that has two antena on the back of it ?
you only need to use your web browser to log into the router. I will give you the directions and default password. the instructions can be found on the web site also.
This Linkys is suppose to connect one main computer to another using one mainn modem so there has to be another antenna for the attachement to seconf computer to be able to pick up signal. It also should come with its own CD, do you not have that? There is no logging into a browser, the minute computer is booted up, its online according to the same Linksys I have. Ours just quit working and am trying to replace. Can you answer these questions for me because I would be very intesrested to bid Legend Laraine
Antenna wise there is one for incomming transmition and one of out going transmission. Some company's add a thrid one for balance load. you hook up you ISP modem to the WAN port and one computer/laptop to the eithernet port on the back to setup the wireless settings. I always use the web browser to configure the router. all you have to do is type in 192.168.1.1 to access the router and type in the defualt username and password. Navagate to the wireless setting tab and enter the WPA2 password you want and you are done. Of course i would change the defualt password to protect your network. I will include the deflaut password and username with the package. I don't have the disc any more, if I did I would include it with listing.
