Originally released in 2008 by DC Direct (nowadays DC Collectibles), this figure is based on the Toyman depicted in the 2005-07 DC Comics maxi-series "Justice", by Alex Ross (famous for his artwork on "Marvels", "Kingdom Come", and his covers for "Astro City" and the current volume of "The Amazing Spider-Man"), Jim Krueger, and Doug Braithwaite (all of whom previously worked together on Marvel's 1999 mini-series "Earth X"). Toyman is a 'puppet' version of the Jack Nimball incarnation of the character, famously seen in the cartoon series "Challenge of the Super Friends".

Figure itself is unopened, though the box shows wear.
