The listing, 2013 Topps "Cut to the Chase" TED WILLIAMS (Red Sox) die-cut refractor has ended.
Simply awesome looking insert from 2013 Topps.
The Splendid Splinter was baseball's last .400 hitter (.406 in 1941). One of the best stuied and most pure hitters the game has ever seen, Williams smashed 521 home runs and collected over 1800 RBI in his career, despite leaving during the prime of his career to spend 3 years contributing to the World War II effort. He led the league in batting 6 times, on base percentage 12 times, and homers and RBIs 4 times each. He won 2 MVP Awards and finished runner up 4 times (including his .406 season; DiMaggio won MVP that year). His career batting average (.344) is 8th best all time, second best in the live-ball era, and his .482 career on-base percentage is a major league record.
IMPORTANT:
-I currently work an "out of town" job and since I don't use a smartphone, I access the site infrequently throughout the week. Unfortunately, this means I am often not around to haggle. Not being rude, this is just my reality.
-If you don't feel like the item is "worth it", don't buy it. There are lots of great items available on Listia and plenty of ways to spend your credits, plenty of other sellers will appreciate your business as much as I will.
-Please direct questions to my email; I actually check emails, although I am admittedly not good at following comments.
