After a rough start to his career in Tampa Bay (3-16 record as a starter), Young ended up as Joe Montana's backup in San Francisco. There he developed the skills to be one of the most proficient passers ever (3rd highest career passer rating), and led the Niners to an amazing 91-33 record in games he started at QB. A 7-time Pro Bowler, 2-time NFL MVP, and the Super Bowl XXIX MVP, Young was more than just a great arm; he was the model for the modern run-ad-gun quarterback, setting an NFL record fr quarterbacks with 43 rushing touchdowns.
